As the
Mechanical Maintenance Manager , you will be a key member of the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team. You will provide professional leadership and expertise in mechanical engineering, ensuring compliance with healthcare technical
memorandums (HTMs) and the effective management of supplier contracts. Your work will play a vital role in maintaining the operational performance of our facilities and ensuring they remain safe and efficient for our patients, staff, and visitors. You will oversee all works related to: HTM02
- Medical Gas Systems HTM03
- Ventilation and Heating Systems HTM04
- Water Safety HTM08-02
- Lifts SHTM08-08
- Pressure Systems This includes audits, assurance reviews, and providing expertise as an
Authorised Person
for these areas. Full JD available on request. Person Specification A degree in Engineering or a related estates discipline, with substantial experience as a senior manager in estates and facilities. NHS experience in a similar role Experience of working as an Authorized Person (AP) Strong understanding of estates and facilities services. Full UK driving license. This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
