Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This Mechanical Maintenance Technician role is focused on inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

How the role is set up

We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Fitter (2 Shift) at our cable manufacturing site on Wrexham Industrial Estate. Week one - 7.00am-4.00pm Monday to Thursday then 7.00am - 1.30pm Friday.

Engineering work involved

Inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role.

Technical skills and requirements

• Time served with EITB/equivalent Certificate of Craftsmanship.
• Rigging of unbalanced loads.
• Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.

Job details

• Average working week of 40 hours per week.
• Days/Afternoons shift pattern rotating weekly.
