We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Services Engineer to lead and manage all aspects of mechanical services engineering for our projects. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Estimate and price enquiries, collaborating with our Estimating Manager on tender submissions. Develop mechanical services designs and produce technical documentation, including working drawings, schematics, and installation details. Liaise with clients, main contractors, design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. Coordinate services designs with the mechanical division and external contractors. Maintain company standards and procedures in all work aspects. Essential Attributes: Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Mechanical Services Engineering or a related discipline, ideally to Degree Level. Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role or environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team under senior management and directors’ supervision. Good working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for mechanical and public health engineering installations. Proficient in mechanical services installations, materials, and techniques. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritising and managing workload effectively. Capable of providing technical solutions and value engineering alternatives. Comfortable in a client-facing role, representing the company professionally.
