We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Project Manager

to oversee large-scale commercial projects in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and skilled professional to lead mechanical engineering teams and manage the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring the successful delivery of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing mechanical installations for commercial projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and budget control. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the mechanical scope of work for a commercial project from inception to completion. Plan, coordinate, and manage mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Ensure all mechanical works are carried out in compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications. Develop detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks. Monitor project progress, identify any potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and project delivery. Supervise and manage mechanical site teams, providing leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment in line with the project timeline. Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring the work meets the required standards. Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management. Manage project costs, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, with a solid understanding of mechanical systems in commercial projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Experience in managing and delivering large-scale commercial projects. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, project management, or construction (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent). In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
