Mechanical Project Manager, Hampshire
My client is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager/Clerk of Works to work client side on a range of projects across a number of sectors. This role is a growth position as they have secured a number of projects moving forward. The company turns over in the region of £25 million, is well established and has a solid team in place to grow from. They are a Design and Build Contractor working on projects across the commercial, hotel, leisure, and public sectors. This role is in need of a solid Mechanical Project Manager who has ideally come from a design engineering or clerk of works background. Your role will be acting as clients' representative, managing the internal and/or external design consultancies on projects from stage 2 onwards to ensure that the project is being delivered correctly from pre-construction up to installation phases. You will be responsible for design management, technical report writing, advising of key amendments and decisions during the pre-construction phases, as well as on-site monitoring of project progress. This is a mechanically biased position and as such we require somebody who is qualified in a mechanical design or building services discipline.
