Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage various mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a thorough understanding of project management principles. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve objectives. Conduct regular meetings with team members to review project status and address any issues that arise. Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Utilise Civil 3D software for design and analysis as required in project execution. Experience Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical engineering field or related industry. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is important. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is desirable but not mandatory depending on experience.
