The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established business that is a market leader within HVAC & building services solutions. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and supportive team at their facility in Leicester.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Manage the team to ensure maximum project engagement. Be a strong on-site presence throughout installation, commissioning, and handover. Coordinate labour needs - both employed team members and subcontractors. Work with procurement to ensure necessary materials are available for each project. Identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned across the business. Provide leadership support and guidance to the project team.
The Person Experienced within a Project Manager position. Ideally from an HVAC background, although other building services/construction experience will be considered. Proven track record planning, executing, and closing projects successfully. Commercially aware.
