- My client is a M&E Contractor based in Warwick who has been established for over 50 years. As a business, they work on multimillion-pound contracts across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and leisure.

As the successful Project Manager, you will be managing D&B projects up to £10M (M&E) across all the above sectors.

The company ethos is about quality and going that extra mile which provides my client with repeat business and a busy order book. This is a pivotal role and a great opportunity to join this well-established team. Responsibilities

Handover of project from Estimating and familiarisation of all details of the project design, drawings, and specifications to enable full understanding of the project. Attend Pre-start meetings with Main Contractor. Develop programme with key dates, issue any technical submittals through to approval and any RFIs as required for the project. Procure labour and subcontractor packages and materials with cost savings and to meet programme delivery requirements. Populate procurement schedule. Maintain commercial responsibility with value engineering, working alongside QS on variations and ensure project is managed to a profitable return. Project Planning and managing progress with Site Manager, leading the team ensuring compliance with Contract drawings and specifications and to high standards, following programme ensuring labour levels are met and materials are on site. Working closely with Electrical counterpart to ensure continuity and specification is met. Populate Quality reports and documentation required by Main Contractor working with H&S Manager as required. Progress meetings with Client and Subcontractors to monitor performance and quality. Maintain progress reports. Plan and monitor Commissioning stages with Site Manager and subcontractors. Ensure defects are kept to a minimum. Formulation of O&M Manual information working with internal admin and External O&M document builder. Delivery of whole project to handover and final account stage. Experience Demonstrable record of managing multi-million-pound design and build projects with another contractor at a similar level for at least five years. Good all-round mechanical knowledge with relevant qualifications. Effective planning and project management skills. Commercially astute with good understanding of buying and making money on projects. Client focused and Professional. You will be confident with good communication skills, used to sitting in meetings and dealing with Contractors and Clients. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads. Good people management and ability to motivate, lead and maintain relationships. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. Excellent written and verbal skills. Package Annual salary Annual discretionary bonus scheme based on company performance Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone, Laptop, PPE and Corporate clothing Westfield Health Cash Plan and NEST pension plan 25 days holiday plus Statutory 8 days Monday to Friday, Core hours 40 hours a week.
