This role:

Mechanical Projects Engineer

is with a Midlands-based Building Services Contractor who, over the last 30+ years, has maintained a reputation for quality and service. You will be responsible for project management, coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical HVAC systems within commercial and industrial buildings with values of up to £6M+.

As a Mechanical Projects Engineer, you will be:

Managing mechanical aspects of projects within the commercial and industrial sectors. Managing the whole contract costs from inception to final account, keeping track of labour and material expenditure, forecasts, and P&L. Developing system specifications and preparing construction drawings and documentation, plant and equipment schedules for mechanical HVAC systems. Placing orders with suppliers and subcontractors. Managing subcontractors. Providing technical support to clients.

We would love to speak to people who are currently working within the Building Services Sector as a Mechanical Projects Engineer, Mechanical Projects Manager, or Mechanical Contracts Manager. Finally, if you have any of the following qualifications, we would love to hear from you: HND in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering.

As a Mechanical Projects Engineer, your salary will be within the £55-65K region. As part of your employment with the company, you will receive a company car, automatic enrolment in the pension, healthcare, and bonus schemes.
