Working Hours & Salary:
The working hours in this role are 4 on 4 off (days & nights, 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am).
Salary: £47,600 per annum.
Mason James are partnered with an industry-leading UK food manufacturing business based in the Shropshire area. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain and promote health and safety standards across the site, working safely at all times. Responsible for all reactive and proactive maintenance work, ensuring it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole site. Expected to carry out all maintenance and repairs across the factory, in both low care and high care environments. Attend to breakdowns when necessary, ensuring a rapid response and minimising plant equipment and machinery breakdown time. Carry out repairs to plant and equipment effectively and efficiently, either alone or as part of a team. To carry out PPM onsite while ensuring a proactive approach to planned maintenance and a high PPM output. Identify areas of improvement to increase equipment reliability and efficiencies. Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience. Manufacturing industry experience - Industry considered: Packaging, Food, FMCG. Good communication skills.
