We are currently working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of circa £1bn and a strong international presence delivering notable projects across sectors. They are looking for a mechanical site manager to work on a significant ongoing healthcare development in Derby, East Midlands.
It is a capital works development, and they have several upgrade and new build developments across the multi-use healthcare campus. As mechanical site manager, you will work closely with a project manager and join a talented team tasked with managing the installation of mechanical systems, overseeing multiple specialist subcontractors.
Role/Responsibilities:
Management of subcontractor labour Attend site meetings Progress reports Prepare contract documents (i.e., method statements, risk assessments, RFIs, etc.) Health and safety compliance Review and amend RAMS Snagging Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project.
The M&E values of the developments vary from £2m-£25m, which you will deliver in partnership with the construction team of the same business. You will receive an attractive salary with the opportunity to join an interesting project that will run for many years, providing exposure to many new schemes within the same location.
