Mechanical Supervisor

for a Data Centre project in Amsterdam. With the book full until 2028, there is excellent scope for a credible Mechanical Supervisor to play a pivotal role in helping the growth and expansion of the business over the coming years. In this role, you will oversee the installation/management of Mechanical systems on site, ensure site safety, drive a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices, manage project schedules and costs, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee day-to-day site operations. The successful Mechanical Supervisor will ideally have 3+ years of management experience in a Data Centre or from projects with sizable Mechanical packages. Mechanical Supervisor Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Project Manager to address client requirements regarding Mechanical aspects of the project. Ensure the completion of all necessary documentation and obtain the required approvals to initiate the project. Work alongside the Project Manager and Contract Manager to effectively handle all Mechanical contracts, supported by the project team. Create a site-specific QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) plan in collaboration with Safety and QA/QC managers, and ensure all personnel are informed about the plan and project objectives. Ensure that all Mechanical site staff receive appropriate induction and possess the necessary qualifications and training for their roles. Develop a comprehensive and feasible schedule for Mechanical activities in consultation with discipline leads and the project planner. Promote a coordinated team approach among all project disciplines and foster unity towards achieving project objectives. Maintain a strong focus on the project goals throughout its duration. Safeguard the adherence to the established build sequence, encompassing equipment ordering, delivery, and installation, to ensure the timely and safe execution of the fast track schedule within budget constraints and to the highest standards.
