We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our clients team in Cardiff. This role focuses on larger-scale education and healthcare projects, offering the opportunity to work on complex, impactful schemes within these vital sectors. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage mechanical teams on-site, ensuring efficient and safe operations at all stages of the project. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems in education and healthcare facilities. Ensure compliance with all mechanical regulations, health and safety standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Provide guidance and support to mechanical staff, ensuring all team members work to the highest standards. Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, addressing any technical issues or concerns promptly. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally with a background in large education and healthcare projects. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, regulations, and health and safety standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues. Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, etc.) and a valid CSCS card. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
