Nightshift Allowance A Maritime Organisation based in Port Glasgow is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor on a permanent basis to lead and supervise a multiskilled team to ensure that all activities are completed on time and of the quality of output consistent. What you'll be doing: Installing main machinery on new build vessels Reading and understanding technical drawings Setting up and aligning shafts, thrusters, rudders, gear boxes, pumps and commissioning mechanical equipment Setting work for the team to maximise utilisation of labour and meet delivery schedules Providing technical advice to the team and identifying process improvements Updating all relevant documents including daily progress registers, log books, accident book, training, performance and attendance.
