A leading commercial project in Stevenage, with an M&E package valued at £5 million, is in need of a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within the set schedule. The successful candidate will report directly to the Mechanical Project Manager, providing a clear line of communication and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining quality assurance and driving subcontractors and trades to meet project deadlines. Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of workmanship. Ensuring that all mechanical works are executed efficiently and effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale commercial projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and M&E packages. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage subcontractors and trades. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.

This role offers a competitive daily rate of £240-£260, paid on a CIS basis, reflecting the importance of the position and the expertise required.
