£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Mechanical Support Engineer. This role offers a blend of office-based work at our Braintree site and field activities across the UK. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to visit our key suppliers in the Netherlands and France for training. Mechanical Support Engineer - Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys and install mechanical interlock systems at customer locations throughout the UK. Provide technical assistance to the sales team, addressing customer inquiries. Lead ongoing product development and design projects, contributing to new and improved product offerings. Prepare manufacturing instructions and assist with product assembly as needed. Create artwork for product labels and packaging. Collaborate with various departments to ensure product and service standards are met. Actively participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for product applications. Visiting customer sites across the UK, with access to a company vehicle. Key Skills and Qualifications

SolidWorks 3D CAD; Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign; City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent technical qualification. Strong Mechanical equipment knowledge and practical hands-on experience. Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and manage your workload and field work with minimal supervision. Proficient in general IT tasks relevant to the role.
