Key Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, wide variety of industrial mechanical items such as pumps, agitators, mechanical seals, heat exchangers and valves. Provide access and install isolations to enable vessels and reactors to be inspected. Executing preventative maintenance inspections on mechanical equipment, in line with agreed procedures. Perform statutory machine inspections and testing. Understanding, evaluating, and executing the tests and procedures properly and setting up documentation and control procedures. Developing and improving maintenance procedures. Working in line with current company cGMP procedures including all relevant SOP's and guidelines. Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with appropriate EHS Procedures. Qualifications & Experience Proven work experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role, within the petrochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Qualified to S/NVQ Level 3 Experience of glassware would also be advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent health and safety knowledge. Rigging and lifting experience would be an advantage.
