PE Global is recruiting a Mechanical Technician for our multinational oil and gas client based in Inverurie. The role is an initial 9 month contract with the chance of a permanent position once the contract duration is over. Responsibilities: Follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to accurately assemble products. Ensure cleanliness and follow designs/procedures. Monitor materials and products for defects. Guide and support team members. Support on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and quality. Keep the work area safe, organised, and clean following 5S and LEAN principles. Support new techniques, products, and machinery purchases. Engage in daily briefings and discuss potential issues. Complete tasks to meet targets set by the Cell Leader. Inform the Cell Leader of any assembly disruptions. Requirements: Have a background in a mechanical based profession. Ability to operate basic hand and power tools. Forklift and overhead crane certificates (Desirable). Working knowledge within an assembly & manufacturing environment (Desirable).
