Mechanical Technician

This Mechanical Technician opportunity is built around test and overhaul valve & cylinder assemblies and undertake hydrostatic testing of cylinders and charging of complete assemblies (up to 4500 PSI). It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Known job details

• Pay: £32,000
• Contract: Permanent
• Work model: On-site
• Shift: Weekends
• Up to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
• This role is working a 39 hour week.
• Hours of work are Monday- Thursday: 8am- 4.30pm and Friday: 8am- 4pm.
• A 9 day fortnight is available to those who want it.

• Test and overhaul valve & cylinder assemblies and undertake hydrostatic testing of cylinders and charging of complete assemblies (up to 4500 PSI).
• Replace standard spares as part of the overhaul process.
• Inspect individual parts and replace defective items.
