Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician will include:
Building and assembling a range of industrial rotating equipment Dynamic balancing of components, including impellors, shafts and rotors Reading, interpreting and working directly from a range of technical drawings, BOMs and schematics, ensuring that products are built in line with tolerances and specifications
Qualifications:
For the Mechanical Technician position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following: IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.) The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and effectively use a variety of hand & power tools
Working Hours of the Mechanical Technician:
37 Hours per week working a regular day shift Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30 Friday - 07:00 to 12:00
In return, the Mechanical Technician will receive:
Pay Rates: PAYE: £20.00 / UMBRELLA PAYE: £26.46 Incentive Payment: £1,000.00 for every successful 3 month period worked Overtime: Frequently available paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only) Holiday Allowance: 33 Days (PAYE) Assignment Duration: 3 Month rolling assignment (often extended and sometimes offered permanent, but not guaranteed)
