Our client is seeking a Mechanical Test or Inspection Engineer to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and quality of mechanical products and sub-assemblies through meticulous testing, inspection, and calibration processes.
The successful candidate will work across a range of mechanical disciplines, from aerodynamics and fluid dynamics to sub-assembly checks, playing a vital role in delivering reliable, high-performance products to customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform safe and accurate testing of mechanical products and sub-assemblies in accordance with ISO9001 standards and team priorities. Log and analyze test data for future reference and continuous improvement. Diagnose faults down to the component level and refine test methods as needed. Inspect incoming items and manufactured parts, approving or rejecting them based on design specifications. Maintain accurate records of bookings and processes using internal systems.
