Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU. I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive Manufacturer based in Surrey who are seeking a Mechanisms Project Engineer to join their team. Essential Criteria:
Min 1 year experience in Automotive, Interiors or Mechanisms. Degree or equivalent in Automotive or Mechanical engineering discipline (would consider no degree with 3+ years of experience in interiors, mechanisms or cockpits). Experienced and comfortable in a customer facing environment. Confident communicator with strong organisational skills. Skilled in all areas of Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.). Able to work unsupervised and proactively in a flexible and dynamic environment. Nice to Have Criteria:
Experience using CAD visualisation software packages. Client experience. Experience in vents, HVACs, armrests, or sliding mechanisms. Experience in Cockpits. Willingness to travel internationally on rare occasions. Experience working with customers and suppliers from different parts of the world (namely China). Why work through Contechs?
