With a comprehensive and global leading product portfolio in energy, our advanced manufacturing and technology business based in Lisburn is growing their team and looking to recruit a Mechatronics Engineer on a contract basis. Are you a skilled Mechatronic Engineer/Mechanical Engineer looking to join a leading global company specialising in cutting-edge technology trusted in 90+ countries worldwide? Role Overview As a Mechatronic Engineer/Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of mechanical and mechatronic engineering, from design to testing and certification. You will also play a key role in supporting the global supply chain by improving manufacturing and supplier processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support continuous improvement projects across the business. Work within a cross-functional team to ensure product development milestones are achieved on time. Develop mechanical designs using CAD modelling and simulation tools. Ensure all designs comply with quality and regulatory standards. Develop and execute verification & validation test plans for new product development. The Candidate: Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent experience). Proven experience working with complex mechanical/electrical systems. Competency in machined metal & sheet metal part design. CAD experience (SolidWorks / AutoCAD), including creating detailed drawings, BOMs, and specifications. A hands-on approach to design and testing, including prototyping and modifications.
