In this role you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the Royal Navy Training Design Service. As the Media Developer you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight. The ideal candidate has a background in 3D Modelling and Animation and is comfortable working within a standardised development environment, thinks creatively, is confident, excels in a collaborative team atmosphere, and is detail oriented. Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for all media tasks assigned to you with regards to training transformation. Supporting the Media team in the production of interactive, innovative and engaging media content. Developing innovative and engaging media content utilising industry-standard software. Building strong stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts. Working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to create fit for purpose e-Learning content. Identify and implement best practice across multimedia outputs. Maintain and adhere to asset management of electronic files. Responsible for the continuous professional development of yourself. Adhering to the Quality Assurance procedures and standards. Ensure compliance with MoD & Raytheon policies. Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data. Any other duties required to support the Integrated Training Design Service. Occasional travel to other customer sites may be required. Essential Qualifications:
Demonstrate a passion for training transformation and continuous improvement. To produce 3D models & media for RN training courses. Creation of animation sequences visualising complex concepts. Experience in creating and developing media content within Autodesk 3D Studio Max and/or Blender. Experience of Microsoft Office based software. Experience in the delivery of eLearning Media projects. Experience of creating media content and technology-based learning solutions. Excellent IT skills with the ability to use in-house systems. Attention to detail, a passion for quality, able to plan, multitask, deliver on time and work independently. Adopt a flexible approach to the role. Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of UK Ministry Defence procedures and policies. Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes. Experience of Rapid Authoring tools. Contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions. Benefits:
