The Faculty for Education and Arts at University of Winchester is looking to recruit a part time Media Technician to support our School of Creative Performance and Production and its wide-ranging provision. This is a broad and varied role and will require the need to work closely with academic colleagues across the school and within the Faculty of Education and the Arts, as well as with its various stakeholders both across the University and externally.

As a part time Media Technician, you will be responsible for the provision of technical support and instruction for students for various programmes within the faculty, with a particular focus on digital media provision. It will be an advantage to have other skill areas to support the school's course teams generally, including theatre technical abilities.

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard and possess comprehensive media training courses, as well as experience of providing technical media support within an HE/professional context or training/coaching experience.

Ability to work within a team and independently across the various programmes, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies, and flexibility to support the work of the course teams will be key.

This post will be joining our current technical team who have a focus on music and theatre production.
