Hunter Community Health Centre, Andrew Street, East Kilbride G74 1AD Kirkview Medical Practice would like to invite applications from enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals wishing to join our busy, hard-working administrative team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality service care, tailored to meet the needs of our 7500 patients. The practice is based within Hunter Community Health Centre in East Kilbride. Our team currently consists of six GPs, one Practice Nurse, one Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Manager, Office Supervisor, and an experienced administrative team. Our administrators play a key role in the practice, carrying out duties such as reception work in the form of making appointments, answering telephones, dealing with internal and external mail, emailing, and scanning duties. You will also be a point of contact for patients, doctors, and other medical professionals. Duties also include the typing of clinical letters, maintaining the clinical computer system, and other internal practice systems and procedures. Previous experience of working within a medical administrator/reception role would be advantageous, as well as a working knowledge of Vision, Docman, and Microsoft Office applications; however, it is not essential, and for the preferred candidate, a full induction training program will be provided. The post is full time (37.5 hours per week), and you will work Monday to Friday on a rota of early and late shifts (alternating weeks of 8.30am-5.00pm and 10.00am-6.30pm). A degree of flexibility will be required to cover staff holiday periods. Salary will commence at £24,583.61 per annum.
