The post holder will have specific responsibility for providing admin and medical secretarial typing support to the medical secretaries in Rheumatology, working within the standard operational procedures. They will assist in the provision of a quality, professional, comprehensive, and coordinated patient-centered administration service. Main Duties of the Job

Typing from the Winscribe digital dictation system to support the medical secretarial team. General office duties including dealing with post, scanning documents into Cerner, booking appointments, tracking in and out case notes as required, sorting out blood results received from the pathology lab, and helping the medical secretarial team manage patient investigations. Person Specification

Education and Experience

Clerical experience in a customer care environment. GCSE Maths and English level 4 or above or equivalent. Computer literate with proven telephone skills. Friendly and caring manner, able to demonstrate ability in dealing sympathetically and sensitively with people. Able to work in a team and provide support to team members. Good organisational skills and ability to keep information confidential. Important Information
