You will be one of the Board’s principal advisors, providing specialist advice on aspects of strategic development and management of safe, effective, efficient and sustainable clinical services. You will have joint responsibility for Clinical Governance, Risk and Quality Standards (shared with the Nurse and AHP Director/COO) and represent NHS Western Isles at a Regional and National level. You will lead the Medical Team from a professional and operational perspective, including job planning, appraisal, and recruitment.
