• Ensure evidence-based analysis is carried out, providing unbiased views of equipment suitability to the task.
• Maintaining an up to date and informed view of new equipment market, hospital requirement, replacement plans and senior staff equipment related concerns.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering experience in complex sector with technical responsibility.
• Able to communicate complex technical information to a broad audience of peers, clinical staff, procurement, administration etc. in a clear, concise and effective manner.
• Prepared to work in clinical areas where patients are connected to and dependant on medical devices.
