As an Advanced Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will support our registered Biomedical Scientists and be an integral part of our team. Full time working hours (37.5 hours per week) working 5 out of 7 days Knowledge
Basic Medical Terminology Qualifications
Min. 4 GCSE or equivalent to grade C or above IT Qualification Skills/Attributes
High levels of accuracy Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to contribute to effective team working Ability to organise own work to meet required deadlines Further Training
NVQ 2 (clinical lab support) Internal Training and experience for Cellular pathology techniques (Equivalent to NVQ 3) Experience
Experience as MLA in a Histopathology Department Knowledge of scientific terminology Previous tissue embedding or section cutting (microtomy) skills Disclosure and Barring Service Check
