Medical Manager - Intensive Care Pharmaceuticals - UK & Ire Our client is a European pioneer specialising in the research of rare disorders and critical care conditions, and develops, produces, and markets innovative solutions designed to combat them. They are dedicated to developing personalised treatments for patients with rare conditions. With a strong product pipeline with several upcoming product launches, they are recruiting for a talented Medical Manager with responsibility for the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Managing Director, the objective of the role is to develop and implement the medical strategy whilst maintaining the highest scientific and medical expertise with all diseases and products within the company portfolio and be acknowledged internally and externally as an expert in these areas. As such, you will provide medical leadership, insight, and strategy to all company activities, collaborating across functions. Main responsibilities include: Develops and executes Medical Affairs activities and scientific projects based on the medical strategy. Develops and conducts medical education and communication activities. Involved in developing and reviewing responses to complex medical information queries. Builds and maintains strong strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders. Plans and conducts Advisory Boards as needed to obtain insights. Presents scientific and clinical data in a variety of different settings. Works closely with, and provides medical support to, other Medical Affairs Team members. Collaborates with Global Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance teams. Assists with planning and management of Registries and other Phase IV studies as appropriate. Involved in supporting and coordinating Investigator Sponsored Trials. Final signatory for company materials. Required experience: GMC-registered physician or GPhC-registered pharmacist. ABPI Final Medical Signatory. Excellent clinical and scientific understanding of therapy area desirable. Experience and a proven track record in a relevant medical/scientific role. Strategic mindset with a focus on collaboration and excellence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
