Minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing medical equipment maintenance Evidence of training, certifications, experience, and other qualifications for each biomedical engineering technician performing services is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Education/Certification:
Associates degree or higher, or equivalent Duties:
Repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment used in the healthcare field with minimal supervision from service management Perform maintenance, testing, repair, and operation duties Conduct scheduled and unscheduled individual preventive maintenance procedures Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and/or repair equipment for proper function Prepare required work orders to accompany equipment for repair Perform a variety of tasks in connection with the setup and installation of assigned medical equipment throughout the organization Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment
