Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. This role offers potential for development and progression into management. Key Responsibilities: Assign lab reports and documents to clinicians. Manage the Patient Participation Group. Process incoming patient records. Summarize patient records from paper to electronic format. Monitor fast track referrals and 2-week wait (2WW) referrals. Minute clinical meetings. Manage the training matrix for staff and inform them when training needs to be completed. Oversee chronic disease recall/screening, including chronic disease recalls, cervical screening, and DEXA. Register new patients. Carry out referral follow-up, handle queries, and manage other referral administration tasks. Write up dictated letters. Manage patient deductions. Handle amendments to patient demographics. Monitor and action items on the ERS portal. Chair huddles (small meetings). Provide support to the reception team. Handle and fulfill GDPR requests. Perform secretarial duties, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies. Code clinical documents. Qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong secretarial skills, including typing, filing, and managing correspondence. Hours and Salary: 30 hours per week. £15 per hour. Job Type:
