An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy dynamic photographic division of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals Trust. The Medical Photography Department, based in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, provides a wide range of photographic services for the Trust / Outreach Clinics / Newcastle Hospitals at Cramlington, including evening and weekend working. To work effectively in a team of 23 with supervision and training to provide an efficient, reliable, and high-quality imaging service. We are seeking two friendly, enthusiastic, conscientious, and motivated individuals who can demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team. You must have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Comprehension of photographic principles and application of theoretical and practical knowledge/skills alongside a clear working knowledge of Photoshop is essential. You will be based either within Ophthalmic or Clinical Photography, to efficiently provide a range of imaging services including retinal photography, anterior segment photography, facial photography, and optical coherence tomography (OCT). A HND in photography or equivalent is essential. We would like to see a varied portfolio of photography work with evidence using Adobe Photoshop. Provide a professional service maintaining the safety and well-being of the patients. Provide a photographic service to produce high-quality images for clinicians to help diagnose conditions.
