Arrive, amend and cancel patient appointments in line with practice appointments procedures Answering telephone calls, taking messages, ensuring all are actioned / redirected / documented Produce repeat prescriptions according to practice procedures and ensure timely completion of the scripts for the clinicians on a daily basis. Responding to requests or queries for support as they arise in an appropriate and timely manner Registration of new patients. Fax/photocopying Ensure up-to-date maintenance of computerised and manual filing systems Amalgamation of new patient records Workflow, Emails - action/distribute Filing/New patients notes/Summarising GP 2 GP Post - open / sort Raise blood forms Be able to cover all reception positions as necessary Process appointment requests for today/future appointments from patients by telephone via AskmyGP. Qualifications
GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths Experience
Experience of working within a primary care setting or healthcare setting. Experience of dealing with highly confidential matters 1 Year experience in Primary Care 1 Year experience of working in a GP Practice Disclosure and Barring Service Check
