Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at the London Pregnancy Clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic's administrative operations. This role involves handling all patient communication via different channels: telephone calls, emails and Whatsapp.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Communication:
Answer all patient queries via telephone, email, and other communication channels promptly and professionally. Provide accurate and empathetic information about our services, appointments, and processes. Administrative Coordination:
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Maintain accurate records of patient bookings and care pathways. Organize and follow up on patient care, including chasing blood test results and coordinating with labs. Support patients in completing consent forms and other necessary documentation. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with on-site medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and sonographers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care. Act as a liaison between patients and clinical teams to address and resolve queries efficiently. Clinic Administration:
Ensure the clinic's administrative processes are well-organized and up-to-date. Manage patient records with confidentiality and precision. Assist in conducting audits and other compliance-related tasks.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role (medical setting preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic management software (training will be provided). A team player who is proactive and solution-oriented. Being able to explain medical terms and assess suitability of services offered by the clinic to a patient's enquiry.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a pregnancy or women's health clinic. Knowledge of medical terminology.
