By leveraging our commercialised portfolio we are confident we can change the practice of medicine and redefine cancer treatment. We are currently looking for a Senior Medical Science Liaison or Medical Science Liaison based in Sydney. You will provide actionable information to key clinicians that enhances the value and appropriate use of AstraZeneca's oncology (thoracic) products to internal stakeholders; respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products and services and develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca's products. Essential for the role Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy or disease related science) Extensive experience within Medical Affairs (ie MSL or SMSL) Experience in pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of oncology disease area and treatment Experience with basic research, drug discovery, drug development and KOL interactions Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Excellent project management skills Excellent presentation skills High level analytical and conceptual thinking Strong leadership Ability to travel Completed Medicines Australia Code of Conduct training (up to date with Edition 19) Desirable for the role Master’s degree/PhD/PharmD in a scientific discipline or MD Knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication Why AstraZeneca?
