Main duties of the job We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to join the Elderly Care Secretarial team. You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.

The ideal candidate will have:

Outstanding empathy and compassion

Able to use their own initiative

Organisational Skills

Experience of Microsoft Office packages

Clinical typing experience

Understanding of clinics and appointments

Person specification The post holder will be qualified to NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent:

NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent

Reasonable standard of GSCE A-C (4-9) or equivalent

Secretarial/clerical background.

Application and Interview Knowledge of Microsoft Office package including: Microsoft Word and Outlook.
