Qualifications
Secondary education to GCSE level including English and Maths NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent experience AMSPAR Level 3 Certificate in Medical Administration RSA Level III Experience
Significant experience in secretarial/administration, preferably in a medical setting Previous medical secretary experience Knowledge
Knowledge of the principles of confidentiality and data protection Skills
Excellent keyboard skills Proficient use of computers and software packages, including the knowledge of databases and spreadsheets Capability to work under pressure Attention to detail with high degree of personal organisation, prioritisation and self-management Disclosure and Barring Service Check
