AMICULUM is seeking an accomplished professional to join our team, supporting a medical affairs client in a dynamic role that demands strategic thinking, creativity and strong communication skills. The role Our core expertise is in developing accurate and engaging scientific content and delivering that through a variety of communication channels for maximum reach and impact. As a result of exciting account growth, we have a new vacancy for an experienced medical writer to join our UK/Ireland-based team. This represents a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for either medical affairs or rare-disease-related healthcare communications. The role can be based from any of our UK offices, with home-working flexibility. Key responsibilities Delivery of high-quality content on a medical affairs workstream within a highly significant rare diseases account for AMICULUM. With the support of the editorial lead, providing clients with a high level of scientific and strategic expertise on medical communications projects, including advisory boards and other events, slide sets, congress booth materials and digital resources. Review of content developed by other team members to ensure alignment with strategy, a cohesive narrative and scientific accuracy. Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts. Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams. What you’ll need Previous experience in medical writing within a healthcare communications agency. A strong academic background in the life sciences. Experience supporting medical affairs clients. Engaging and confident verbal communication with strategic thinking ability. Creative storytelling skills and the ability to present data in innovative ways. An ability to be calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Why AMICULUM?
