Multiple Locations Full Time Secondment opportunity - 6 months

INTERNAL ONLY (DCC Employees Only)

This is a high profile post at the heart of democracy where the post holder is required to understand and support the wider business context; contribute to the success of the team; be proactive; use their own initiative and have a flexible approach.

They will provide advice and support to the Council’s elected Members and assist staff within the Democratic Services & Scrutiny Secretariat, providing both technical and administrative support and assistance. This will range from advising Members of the Council on their roles and responsibilities, supporting with arranging meetings and preparing, printing and despatching agendas, providing guidance and information to local/individual County Councillors, and promoting public participation through the use of webcasting and social media.

The post requires liaison with Councillors, community leaders, civic representatives, as well as the public.
