Membership Administrator

to provide administrative support for the Membership and Data Manager by supporting the day-to-day administration of direct debit collections, membership certificates, and membership processes. This role will also support the Membership Coordinator with member enquiries. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in database management and a commitment to enhancing member experiences through efficient administrative processes. Reporting to the Membership and Data Manager, key activities the role holder will be responsible for are: Ensuring efficient processing of membership data updates Processing daily Direct Debit transaction updates Maintaining accurate and up-to-date membership records in the database Performing daily data updates and ensuring data accuracy Reconciling membership accounts, resolving discrepancies, and processing member refund requests for approval Responding to member queries regarding membership, contact details, and benefits Providing excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person Encouraging members to use their member benefits Assisting with keeping the membership database synchronised with the GOC register Coordinating member certificates Supporting marketing and membership recruitment and retention activities Assisting with KPI monitoring, including the quarterly collation of stats for Board reports Successful candidates would need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and knowledge: Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills MS Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Strong attention to detail Flexible approach to work Ability to use initiative to solve problems Able to prioritise multiple tasks Customer service focus A copy of the full job description summarising the key activities and full list of essential requirements can be downloaded from our

Additional Information Typical working hours at the College are 9 am to 5 pm (7 hours, excluding lunch) working five days a week. We operate a flexible working window from 8 am to 6 pm where you can vary your start and end time (working a 7 hour day). This role is flexible and can be worked over a variety of working patterns. We also offer hybrid working (a mixture of home and office working). Typically College staff will work around 20 – 40% of their time at the workplace (whether this is the office at Craven St, or a face to face meeting, exam or event at another business related site or organisation) per week.
