Membership Engagement Officer

| London | Full Time | Hybrid | Up to £45,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Membership Engagement Officer, who will proactively and reactively grow membership and enhance member engagement. Your focus will be on building long-term relationships with companies and individuals, using your expertise to showcase the value of membership and our client's suite of services.

The role will be office-based for initial training, so a commutable distance to London is essential. All staff are currently hybrid working with attendance in the Wimbledon office 1-2 days per week.

Are you the right person for the job?

This role is ideal for a “farmer” type business development person who excels in cultivating and nurturing long-term relationships. You'll enjoy building networks and fostering loyalty, working methodically to achieve meaningful results.

Key Attributes:

Qualifications/Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience. Experience in identifying leads, converting opportunities, and maintaining customer relationships. Knowledge of the property management sector is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills, business acumen, and an ability to work effectively across teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A proactive mindset, motivated by the satisfaction of driving member engagement and growth.

What will your role look like?

Guide potential members through the application process, addressing queries and encouraging completion. Nurture relationships with new members, ensuring they understand and utilise our client's benefits and services (e.g., standards, guidance notes, logos, helplines). Reach out to members and customers with incomplete bookings to identify barriers and support completion. Engage with prospective and current partners, managing inquiries and strengthening collaborations. Leverage data to identify underutilised services and create strategies to boost member engagement. Present membership opportunities and TPI initiatives to decision-making teams, including HR and L&D leaders. Collaborate across teams, sharing market insights and feedback to help shape the company's products and services. Track and report on engagement successes, challenges, and customer motivations.

What can you expect in return?

Hybrid working. Pension and option for private medical and cash back benefits. Close to local transport. 25 - 30 days Holiday entitlement dependant on service. Additional Christmas shutdown and birthday off. No weekends or bank holiday working. Quarterly Work events - team away days. In house training, as required.

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, disability or age.
