Birmingham City FC is seeking a dynamic and passionate Marketing and Membership Executive to join our Fan Experience team. This role is crucial in driving the club's growth and success by developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that engage our dedicated fanbase and attract new supporters. The successful candidate will lead the Membership programme, create compelling packages, manage member relations, and ensure high levels of loyalty and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive membership marketing strategy to attract new members and retain existing ones, meeting targets for the Alliance Club membership programme. Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for member engagement. Establish partnerships with businesses to provide added value to members. Oversee the production of digital and print membership marketing materials. Manage the membership budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial compliance. Conduct regular research and benchmarking to stay updated with industry best practices. Member Engagement and Retention: Create and manage member engagement programmes, matchday activities, events, and exclusive offers to foster community and loyalty. Regularly update the membership online portal with offers, competitions, and engaging content. Develop and implement communication plans to keep members informed through newsletters, social media, and other channels. Coordinate promotional activities to encourage membership sign-ups and renewals. Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally in collaboration with the Supporter Services Officer. Marketing: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the club, its matches, and events. Coordinate marketing brand calendars, ensuring timely content delivery and alignment across departments. Work with agencies and in-house graphic designers to build compelling marketing briefs and campaigns. Ensure all events are conducted professionally, aligning with the club’s brand values and contractual agreements. Manage the club's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. Reporting: Monitor and analyse membership data with the Digital Marketing team to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare regular reports on membership metrics, including acquisition, retention, and engagement. Use data-driven insights to inform strategy and decision-making. Maintain accurate records of player appearances and engagements, providing regular reports on brand visibility and fan sentiment. What we're looking for in you: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in membership management, marketing, or customer relationship management, preferably within the sports industry. Strong understanding of membership sales and retention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant professional certifications or qualifications. Personal Attributes: Passion for football and a deep understanding of the sport's culture and community. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven. Special Conditions: Applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check.
