Membership Marketing Manager (Retention and Engagement) £41,000pa Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid Role Overview Are you passionate about driving member engagement and retention? Join this London based Royal Society as Membership Marketing Manager - Retention and Engagement. In this pivotal role, you’ll support and implement programmes designed to enhance member retention and engagement, develop annual events, and create marketing activities that showcase the benefits of membership. What will you be responsible for? Strategic Programme Support: Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Marketing to create and execute a global retention and engagement programme. Programme Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of events, content, and services to boost member retention. Member Journey Mapping: Identify touchpoints and develop strategies to retain members at risk of leaving. Engaging Content Creation: Develop and deliver timely, relevant content across platforms to engage members. Website and Digital Tool Management: Continuously improve the members-only area of the website and digital services. Renewal Marketing: Create marketing materials for the annual member renewal programme using data insights. Event Management: Plan and deliver online and in-person events to enhance member engagement. Advocacy Programmes: Support acquisition programmes leveraging member advocacy and testimonials. Feedback and Satisfaction: Develop feedback loops and satisfaction surveys to inform retention strategies. Member Offer Development: Collaborate with teams to enhance the member offer and promote relevant benefits. Promotions and Marketing: Work with the member club/hotel to develop and promote relevant offers. Data-Driven Insights: Use data trends and insights to improve retention and engagement efforts. CRM Management: Enhance data-driven retention programmes and improve member journeys. Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with members to ensure satisfaction and engagement. Team Development: Support and develop the marketing team to deliver engaging member content. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities within the current membership base. Budget Management: Assist with budget management, invoicing, and payments. Qualifications needed to thrive in your new role: Strong understanding of strategic marketing and member retention. Experience in managing member engagement programmes and events. Proficient in creating and managing digital content and marketing materials. Excellent project management, communication, and data analysis skills. Ability to work across teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
