PA Support Services Lutterworth Ltd have been providing support in the community for over 16 years. We offer support with mental health, vulnerable adults, and learning difficulties. We enable our clients to achieve independence and integrate with the local community. We are looking for people who can be calm, patient, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, ready to provide reliable regular support to our clients. Full training will be provided to the suitable applicant. Job Role Providing the necessary level of assistance in line with client’s abilities and needs, enabling them to carry out day-to-day tasks, including remembering to take medication, shopping, cooking, housekeeping, and finding employment opportunities. Organising leisure trips to improve wellbeing and different activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. Working with clients in the implementation, monitoring, and regular review of individual support plans. Promoting a pleasant, safe, and homely environment by participating in the monitoring of the care and cleanliness of client’s homes and supporting them to achieve this (no personal care). Support and assistance with food prep and laundry as required in line with their support plan. Supporting clients to liaise with external contractors and health professionals. Helping clients become aware of their social and practical obligations in the community, ensuring that they are aware of relevant health and safety issues. Supporting clients with finances where this is agreed in their support plan. Assisting clients in line with their agreed support plan to take part in community activities including access to leisure, fitness, education, and employment opportunities. Contributing to risk assessment and management as indicated in the support plan. Involvement in client reviews as appropriate. Maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring accidents and incidents are reported and recorded in compliance with health and safety policies/procedures. The role will include some cleaning duties. Listening to the challenges being faced and thinking pragmatically about where to find help and offer support in gaining help. Noticing problems and assisting in keeping our service users' lives safe and enjoyable. Essential Skills Driver with full clean UK driving license. Excellent communication skills. Caring nature.
