A lovely school in Maidenhead is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team in September. They are looking for someone who is either a Psychology Graduate or has experience with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. In this role, you will be valued as a part of a vital team and will be supported throughout your whole time there.
The school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH who is resilient and patient. The school also has a role supporting a lovely Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who is part of a small group with complex needs.
Your role as Mental Health Assistant may include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities: Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom. Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions. Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department. Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
