Mental Health Assistant Are you a psychology student looking for experience with vulnerable children? Are you looking for a role that is rewarding? Then this might be the position for you! This amazing specialist setting in Oxford is looking for a mental health assistant to support their students with various mental health struggles. The setting is a school that caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11 who have been excluded from mainstream education. They have barriers to their learning and mental and emotional needs which make it difficult for them to concentrate. This specialist school is looking for a mental health assistant to support their students in following through with their interventions, ensuring the classroom is an engaging place conducive to learning, and providing feedback to their teachers and therapy support teams. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, be supportive, and have a keen interest in mental health. If you are a psychology graduate looking to gain psychology-related experience or seeking a challenge, then this is the role for you!
