A lovely school in Windsor is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team in September. They are looking for a candidate who is either a Psychology Graduate or has experience with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. In this role, you will be valued as part of a vital team and will be supported throughout your time there.
The school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH who is resilient and patient. Additionally, you will support a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who is part of a small group with complex needs.
Your role may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1 or with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
