Mental Health Assistant - Windsor - ASAP Start Have you got experience helping children who struggle with mental health? Are you a psychology graduate looking for your first step into mental health? A lovely school in Windsor is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team in September. They are looking for a candidate who is either a Psychology Graduate or has experience with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. In this role, you will be valued as part of a vital team and will be supported throughout your time there. The school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH who is resilient and patient. Additionally, you will support a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who is part of a small group with complex needs. Your role may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom. Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions. Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1 or with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department. Keeping track and recording pupil progress. At this Primary School, you will be well supported, and teamwork will be promoted to develop the best structure for the students.
