£90-£107 per day (ranges based on payroll choice) We are currently supporting an Alternative Provision Primary School who are in need of Mental Health Children's Workers to support students aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. It is a very challenging environment so experience and knowledge with SEND and SEMH children or young adults is essential. You will need a DBS on the update service for this role (we can also provide one for you). Responsibilities
Using CPOMs to report incidents Supporting students with future aspirations and job opportunities Supporting students with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or who experience anxiety and/or depression Working with students on an EHCP Monitor and record a student's progress and behaviour Manage very challenging behaviours Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and Site Lead Teachers If you have experience in a school setting or with SEND and SEMH students, please apply. Experience in a residential childcare setting, police role, job coach, or Youth worker role is also encouraged.
